[RK PR Office] RK, a global sludge dehydrator developer, signed an MOU with Egypt SAE to export dehydrators to Egypt.

The MOU was signed at the BEXCO Busan event on May 25th. Global Green Hub Korea (GGHK)In the Egypt The contract was awarded to Samcrete Egypt Engineers and Contractors (SAE) and a Korean consortium.

Under the agreement, the two sides will evaluate the feasibility of potential cooperation on water and wastewater projects with the public and private sectors in Egypt and cooperate in the process of registering suppliers with the government and other customers for the supply of water and wastewater treatment equipment in Egypt, and the Korean consortium will participate as a technology provider and supplier of water and wastewater treatment equipment.

The Korean consortium is composed of five companies, S.M. Co., Ltd., A.R.K. Co., Ltd., Rinkon Technology Co., Ltd., Dongshin Entec Co., Ltd. and Geocell Korea Co., Ltd. to provide environmental technology services in Korea and abroad.

The key products and technologies of the companies in the Korean consortium include.

The Egyptian SAE has a track record of success in building and heavy civil construction, infrastructure construction, roads and rehabilitation, and has been executing national and international projects for many years.

The multilateral MOU is part of the Ministry of Environment's initiative to send a support mission to help Korean companies gain a foothold in Egypt, as well as a plan to promote waste-to-energy and domestic green technology.

In this regard, Mr. Hong Sang-heon, CEO of ARK, said, “The entry of domestic companies into Egypt is expected to spread and disseminate Korean environmental service technologies in future water and sewerage projects. The Middle East is a region where there is always a demand for drinking water, and various domestic technologies for seawater desalination, clean purification technology, and sludge treatment are needed.”.
